I have lived in Australia all my life and for the first 10 years of my career I worked as a Science Teacher at a number of different schools in Melbourne Victoria. At age 29 inspired by Victor Navones 'Alien Song', and Jeff Lews 'Killer bean', I decided that I needed to try something different and over a number of years re-educated myself in the art of character animation. I eventually left teaching to work fulltime as an animator two years later. I now currently work as a fulltime animator in Melbourne. Most recently I have worked as a character animator on some exciting projects including IDT's 'Everyones Hero', 'TMNT' (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), and as a senior animator on the recent Academy Award winning film by George Miller 'Happy Feet'.
I have always enjoyed sport, and have been involved in Tae Kwon Do (winning the heavy weight black belt national Uni Champs in 1992), Ultimate Frisbee (twice competing on the winning team at the national championships, and competing at two world championships as an Australian Representative), and swimming.
I keep Bees, Chooks (Isa Browns, Indian Game, and Silkie Bantams), Rabbits and we have a dog too!
I met my wonderful wife when I was 21 and married her 7 years later. We have two amazing children who are the light of my life.
